Milestone achieved as Sudokkho conducted the first ever Training of Assessors in painting trade

A 4-day Training of Assessors for Berger Training Programme has recently been conducted by international consultant Mr. Graham Charles Wellsted and Project Officer of Sudokkho Mr. Tasfin Aziz. The Training Programme took place from 27th November to 30th November 2017 at Amin Technical Training Centre premises. A total of six Assessors have been trained and certified in the process. Five participants have been certified as Competent Assessor. They are now eligible to assess semi-skilled and skilled painters under Berger training programme.

A certificate giving ceremony was organized on the 4th day in the presence of the Team Leader of Sudokkho Mr. Erling Petersen, Construction Sector Lead of Sudokkho Mr. Md. Belayet Hossain, International Consultant Mr. Graham Charles Wellsted, International Relation and Job Placement Officer Mr. Safiqul Islam Shakil and Civil Engineer-in charge Mr. Abdul Hai of Amin Technical Training Centre.

Sudokkho has been providing technical assistance to capacitate the Training System and its training centers as a part of the Sudokkho Training System. Simultaneously it is supporting Amin Technical Training Centre to emerge as a national TCSP. The Assessor training programme sets a milestone being the first of its kind in Bangladesh. It is a significant step for the Assessors towards achieving BTEB certification in painting trade.
